SHOW ‘N’ TAILS JULY 8, 2012 SUNDAY

Last Sunday, Calvin & Susie hosted an adoption event with K9 Kokua (www.k9kokua.org), Hawaii Cat Foundation (www,hicat.org), and OSPCA (www.oahuspca.org).

It turned out to be quite a Pawty with ice cream provided by Icy Pooch Pops and lots of other treats for everyone. But the best news of all, is that one of the dogs went home with a wonderful family to start her foster life. From all that we have heard afterwards, everything is going smoothly at her new home, and it looks like she will likely go through with her adoption! We couldn’t be happier!

This was the second adoption event we held since we opened our doors late in 2010. Our first adoption event was with OSPCA almost exactly a year ago. We had Mercedez come to our store looking for her forever home, and one of our wonderful customers adopted her! She is now called Mercy, and she is truly a beloved member of her family.
